Had an unplanned visit to the Bukit Bintang Monorail Station with my buddy Pete DeMarco and Othman Abdullah to shoot some light trails as well as the moving monorail at the intersection of Jalan Bukit Bintang and Jalan Sultan Ismail. The platform is located below the monorail platform and can be easily accessible to public. Since the place is a bit secluded, perhaps bring along a friend or two when shooting there. You can shoot on a tripod or on a clamp since there are railings there. Go for the railings on the left of the column to prevent some vibrations from the monorail trains passing by. Images were shot with my SONY A7RII and SONY FE 16-35mm F/2.8 GM lens on a Manfrotto MT055CXPRO4 carbon fibre tripod and FLM-FP32 ballhead. For higher resolution image, please visit my Flickr page at: https://www.flickr.com/photos/nurismailphotography/24097547407/in/dateposted-public Due to the intensity of the lights, constant movement on the roads and sidewalks as well as the monorail that's traveling back and forth, this image has to be blended from multiple images with different exposures and shutter speeds. I'll be holding and HDR/DRI Workshop with Vedd Edd on 27th & 28th January 2018 (please refer to my blog entry on the workshop for details. Thank you).
