I was invited to accompany a VVIP to document the birds at Royal Perak Golf Club (RPGC), accompanied by a few members of Malaysian Nature Society (MNS) Perak Branch. Several birds were sighted, including Spotted wood owl, Oriental pied hornbill, Spotted dove, Collared kingfisher, Asian koel, Coppersmith barbet, Lineated barbet, Crested serpent eagle, Black-naped oriole & Large-tailed nightjar, however, the following were the birds which I had managed to photograph. I was privileged to be invited to join VVIP and a few members of MNS (Malaysia Nature Society) to document some birds at Kledang Saiong Forest Eco Park near Ipoh, Perak. The VVIP arrived around 9:00am and the session lasted till about 1:00pm. Here are some of the birds that were photographed at the eco park. The Sony DSC-RX10 IV is premium superzoom bridge-camera (DSLR-like form factor) with a 24-600mm equivalent F2.4-4 zoom lens and a 20MP 1"-type stacked BSI-CMOS sensor. This new sensor brings phase detect autofocus to the RX10 series for the first time, adding the depth-awareness that is important for focusing long lenses. The camera is also faster than its predecessor and can shoot at 24 fps with AF and auto exposure (compared to 5 fps). With this high feature of the RX10 camera, it is worth while to invest in the protection skin for it.
