Another rooftop outing and this time, I was invited by a friend who is staying there for a few days. According to him, he rented the apartment unit through AirBNB mobile apps. Access to the roof deck is only available to those with the apartment's access card. Ample of parking spaces in the basement of the building.  On the morning of 16/1/2016, I was invited to shoot from Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka building in Kuala Lumpur. Photo courtesy of bro Effendi Safar Jini. Some sample images are as follows. Thanks for viewing.  Alhamdulillah, I was given the opportunity to shoot from the newly completed serviced apartment in Kuala Lumpur, namely Platinum Residences. It was a pleasure to shoot with SONY Ambassador Fakrul Jamil during this outing, together with fellow Alpha shooters (Rasdi & Zaidi)
On the eve of the new year, I was blessed with an invitation to go up the Banyan Tree Residence in Kuala Lumpur to capture the fireworks display. Arrived at site @ 10:00pm and we went up with the lift straight to Level 51 and then climb up 10-floors of stairs to the rooftop for the breathtaking view of Kuala Lumpur city skyline. I used the SONY A7RII and the SONY FE 16-35mm F4 to capture all the images. This shot, however, was taken by my buddy Effendi Safar Jini a.k.a. Mentary Merah as a momento after we were done shooting. My sincere thanks to the organizers!  |
